Petia Topalova?has been an adjunct professor at Robert Morris University since 2016 where she teaches General Chemistry 1 and 2. She believes in being available to her students to show them she cares and lives by the motto: “If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.” In her spare time, she loves making tutus for her daughter who studies ballet abroad.

Jason Patalinghug

Jason Patalinghug teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business Statistics, and Public Finance at Southern Connecticut State University. He was born in Hawaii and grew up overseas. He’s been teaching for 11 years, and his best advice with regards to online teaching is to split the course into large chunks of conceptually related content to help students retain information.

Jennifer Auffenberg teaches College Algebra, Contemporary Math, and Introductory Statistics at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. She’s been teaching for 19 years and has a particular knack for connecting with her students. She believes setting target dates, thinking ahead, and being proactive are the best ways to help them be successful in math. She’s also a ballroom dancer who lives by the Nora Roberts quote: “If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.”
